All the ladies in my group got a henna tattoo from Father Leo’s sister-in-law. They were all different and beautiful. I snapped this photo of mine before it began to fade.

You had to be careful where you walked in this very old church that was under renovation. There were gaps in the ceiling and birds kept relieving themselves without consideration of those standing below!

I didn’t even see the guy sitting among the bananas until I looked at the image later.

The friary in Kottagiri sat amidst this beautiful tea plantation in the mountains. The temps were in the 50s. I desperately wanted to stay in this location for the rest of the trip!

Everywhere we went, there were ladies “raking” leaves with these little brooms.
